About XOMF
As you've no doubt deduced, XOMF is a free image host that allows anyone to upload and share images in all major formats. It's light-weight and easy to use, contains very few calories, and using it won't cost you a cent.

Here are some common questions you might want answered.

For normal users, images will only expire if they go for three months without any downloads. Any access to the image or one of its thumbnails is considered a download, whether it's by hotlinking or directly from XOMF itself. Any images uploaded by pro users will never expire, although if a pro user downgrades their account to regular then that protection no longer applies.

Pro users have access to some special premium features on XOMF, like unlimited uploads, images that never expire, a higher file size limit, and more. An upgrade can be had for less than two dollars a month, and you can find out more by visiting our upgrade page.

XOMF provides you with several ways to link to your uploaded images. You can choose from a variety of thumbnail sizes and XOMF will generate both HTML (for websites) and BBCode (for forums) to save you time. If you're not familiar with HTML, w3schools provides a free tutorial that might help.

Hey, you're cool and we like you. If you're familiar with HTML, just insert the following code into your website to link to XOMF:

If you're a developer and want to integrate any aspect of XOMF into your application or website, check out our API.

If you're a registered user, and were logged in at the time you uploaded the file, just go to your profile page and select the image you want to delete.

Because we have no way to verify the ownership of an image that was submitted by an unregistered user, we aren't able to remove any images (unless compelled by law, such as in the case of copyright infringement) that aren't attached to a specific user account. For that reason, it's important you save the deletion links we generate for you if you think you'll ever need to get rid of an image you upload.

We comply fully with the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will act according to the law in response to any legitimate takedown request we receive. For information on our DMCA policy and how to submit a DMCA takedown notice to us, please see our DMCA policy page.

If your problem is that someone is sharing the link to an image you uploaded to XOMF yourself, please keep in mind that by uploading your images you're granting permission to anyone in the world to view and share those images in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License. You can opt to remove your images from XOMF (if you were logged in when you uploaded them, or if you saved the deletion link for a particular image) at any time.

Please note that XOMF is only responsible for its own content; if another site is hotlinking images you've uploaded and you object to that, it's your responsibility to speak to them directly.
